“We wanted to fill our rather unique

people wouldn’t see on the high street”
Having found the perfect space, an unconverted
17th Century stable, complete with an ancient
cobblestone floor, the pair set about filling it
with quirky curiosities. “We wanted to fill our
rather unique space with unique things, things
that people wouldn’t see on the high street,” says
Hollie. “As much as we both adore country life, we
are inspired, dare we say it, to bring a little bit of
urban cool to the country.”
The shop stocks a mix of vintage furniture with a
soft industrial feel, “think zinc-topped tables and
metal lockers, alongside quirky, one-off vintage
curios and handmade homewares such as handdyed silk lampshades, ceramic animal heads, and
smaller gifts like our essential oil soy candles, cold
pressed soaps and hand-printed greetings cards.”
