“We wanted to fill our rather unique space, with unique things, things that people wouldn’t see on the high street” Having found the perfect space, an unconverted 17th Century stable, complete with an ancient cobblestone floor, the pair set about filling it with quirky curiosities. “We wanted to fill our rather unique space with unique things, things that people wouldn’t see on the high street,” says Hollie. “As much as we both adore country life, we are inspired, dare we say it, to bring a little bit of urban cool to the country.” The shop stocks a mix of vintage furniture with a soft industrial feel, “think zinc-topped tables and metal lockers, alongside quirky, one-off vintage curios and handmade homewares such as handdyed  silk lampshades, ceramic animal heads, and smaller gifts like our essential oil soy candles, cold pressed soaps and hand-printed greetings cards.” 47
