Despite being tucked away down a windy single-track road near Lurgashall in the
rural wilds of the South Downs National Park, we think unique homewares store,
The Bottom Stable, is worth venturing off the beaten track for.

The Bottom Stable back in March 2013, when they
spotted a niche in their local market for somewhere
that “sources the unusual”. They felt everything
locally was a “little safe, a bit samey samey … there
wasn›t anything particularly unusual or inspired
out there”.
