Winter for the HH team is of course, all about home. It’s about making our personal spaces
as welcoming and sociable as possible, not just for the holiday, but for the chillier months of
January and February too. With that in mind we have filled this issue not just with the most
inspiring and cosy homes we could find, but also the current decorating trends, warming
recipes, and simple home-made decorations for the festive period. We don’t believe you
should have to spend a fortune to do this either, so as always, we hope our ideas are achievable
as well as inspirational.
The past year has been a year of growth for us. We have welcomed a new Art Editor, a new
Digital Editor and autumn saw the launch of the Heart Home iPad App. We were also very
excited to have been nominated as ‘best women’s lifestyle magazine of the year’ at the Digital
Magazine awards. We also have plans for some changes in the New Year that we think you
will love, but our lips are sealed for now.
January will also see the first of what we hope will be an annual event. We will be promoting
10 New Designers at the Home London trade event in January because we really do believe
that new talent deserves to be championed and encouraged.
....So much to look forward to.
