How did you first get started into music?

Ever since I was a kid I would sit in my room with my headphones just listening to music all day long. My dad was in prison so when he got out he would teach me how to make beats and play the keyboard so it was like I was born into it. I never actually wanted to do it, until I got serious my senior year of high school.

What made you get serious about it?

I put out a song and it was pretty big. People would listen to it and come back to me with feedback saying they like it. After that I started really working on my craft and perfecting it.

Now you are the first musician from Iowa I have came across, what is the hip hop scene like there?

It is talent around the state, but a lot of musicians want to be a "gangster" rapper. Some people have their own sound, but others just pose harder than what they actually are. But on the positive side their is a lot of growing talent. This guy named Tate Campbell used to be one of the best basketball players in the nation, but he didn't want to do that anymore so he started rapping and he became real good at it.

With your music, do you venture out into other sounds such as pop, rock, and other genres?

Yes I try to keep my ear open to other sounds and be as versatile as possible so I don't have the same consistent sound.

Do you incorporate storytelling into your music?

Most definitely. I have a few songs such as "Tales of the Weekend" and a new song off my new project titled " Definition of " which basically is telling people you don't have to do what other people are doing. You can go out and do your own thing, live your own dreams and make your own mark.

With your song "Game Changer" , what inspired you to put that particular song out?

I have no idea. I was just in the studio and recorded it, and then my friend came up with the chorus. I wanted to express being different without having to say that I am different.

Endeavors 92 I felt like I was rushed to record because my engineer moved to Nashville. So I forced it out, but it ended up being one of my best projects released in my opinion.

Where do you find a lot of your writing inspiration?

I listen to a lot of other music. I have been listening to Isiah Rashad a lot lately and a lot of other musicians with different sounds.
