Arturo L. Benavides Elementary and North Elementary School started the Learn, Grow, Eat, and GO! Curriculum provided by Texas A&M AgriLife Extension mid-September where students will enjoy hands on gardening and nutrient-dense food experiences along with fun activity classroom lessons such as the “Know and Show Sombrero” lesson shown below. Learn, Grow, Eat, and GO! (LGEG) is the new research-based, evidence-based curriculum project of the International Junior Master Gardener program. Students will be a part of this 10 week curriculum during the fall and spring semester.
