THINGS THAT EVERY
MAN SHOULD CONSIDER
IN HIS TWENTIES
Y
our 20s are the best years of your
life because you get to enjoy all the
perks of adulthood, without most
of the responsibilities come with
it. It’s the right time to enjoy yourself and
experiment, without thinking about how your
actions influence your future. Finding a job
may be enough for all the pieces to fall into
place, but for most, success is more complex.
Cultivate it now, so it can pay dividends later.
With that in mind, here are 15 things young
adult men should keep in mind to become
successful, happy adults:
While it’s important
to live in the now, you

Envision a successful
life and create a map for it to help you
reach your goals. They don’t have to be
exact but keep them in mind and they’ll
steer you in the right direction.

To Be Successful In His Thirties
DON’T
COMPARE
YOURSELF
TO OTHERS
Aside from being a source of envy for many, comparing
yourself to others, will not help you. What worked for them
may not work for you. The circumstances may be different
from yours. You are your own person with a unique path to
follow. It may be difficult to resist comparing your life to theirs,
especially in the current culture. Take a moment to breathe
and clear your mind. Soon, it will be like second nature.
ALLOCATE
YOUR TIME
AND ENERGY
WHERE
ITS MOST
NEEDED Time and energy aren’t infinite, so don’t waste either on trivial
things that hold you back from success, like a bad relationship,
an aimless business project, or wasting time on social media.
Rid yourself of time-wasting habits and focus on things that
either help you personally or professionally.
FOCUS
ON WHAT
MATTERS Distractions are a dime a dozen. They make it difficult to stay
on track. But despite its perks, it will all be obsolete in a few
years, if not sooner. Focus on things that bring you pleasure.
Do things that help you reach your goal. Time spent enjoying
life isn’t time wasted as long as it’s something that matters.
