And episodes can occur a couple times a day, which can last a week. That is a huge amount of consumed time and energy. Binge eating can get in the way of someone’s schedule and waste precious time. If someone binge eats at night, it deprives them of sleep and they go to bed with full, unhappy stomach. It can also distract someone with B.E.D. during the day when they are the most busy, as they are thinking about food, which does not allow them to concentrate on what they need to get done. Some serious health issues that Binge Eating can cause are weight gain and obesity, heart disease, depression, Type 2 Diabetes, high blood pressure and many more (Serious Health Problems Caused By Binge Eating). B.E.D. does not seem dangerous, but it can be extremely serious and difficult to get out of, and that is why it is important to be informed what affects it can have on someone’s life.
