Healthy Free Life Academy Success Tip

making healthy choices affordable

Have you ever wondered how you could afford to eat healthier when the budget is tight and healthier options are more expensive?

It's an understandable concern, especially with how much groceries have increased in price. However, be encouraged, as there are ways to make eating healthier possible!

Here are some things to consider:

Is there just ONE item you can upgrade? For example, do you drink mostly sodas, juice, Gatorade or something other than mostly water? Then consider how you can drink more pure water. Listen in

on how to make water more enjoyable. Water is free (except for any filtering you choose) and vital to our health!

Is there a food on the Dirty Dozen list that you eat daily? Then consider upgrading just this one item to an organic option.

Can you replace one item with a more nutrient-dense option that will satisfy and satiate you longer? For example, you could replace a snack of chips with a small serving of nuts- you will need less to satiate you and your cravings will be reduced by consuming a more nutrient-dense option. Check out the snack list in the Lesson 4 workbook of the Glorious Food Revival for more options.
