The Sport That is badminton

Badminton is a sport that is nationally played but more so popular in east Asian countries and can either be played with two people, one on one (Singles) Or in teams (Doubles). The objective of the game and goal is to get the birdie to land on your opponents side after the serve, however it still counts if you get the birdie to the opponents side on the serve but must be past the service line, this is how you score and obtain points. The score goes up to 21 and if the score is 20-20 then both sides go up by two more points until 25 is reached. Badminton is usually played in warmer seasons on outdoor courts, but can be played in the colder seasons in indoor courts like the ones shown in the slide show. Badminton can be played anywhere as long as theirs official courts with lines (service lines, out lines, e.t.c). These lines consist of the service line, doubles out line and singles out lines. Badminton is played for recreational fun and is considered a national sport by many. Badminton is also a great workout, especially when playing singles as you require hand eye coordination to follow the birdie, agility and speed to be prepared to rush wherever the birdie goes and it requires good physical health overall.
