Yoga can also create inner peace. Pope notes, “One of the big benefits of yoga is that it gives everybody an opportunity that may be the only opportunity in their day to get into a room, focus on their breath and just focus on themselves for 45 minutes. All you have to think about is how you feel and there is no competitiveness, so at the end of the practice hopefully you will feel less stressed because of the work that you did.” M
