An Interesting Twist
Using regression analyses , HealthStream was able to determine those survey questions from above that were the key drivers of leaders ’ optimism . The following six items were found to be highly predictive of a respondent ’ s rating of optimism in our survey . This analysis indicates that by prioritizing such things as “ re-engaging consumers for primary care and elective surgery ” leaders believe they will be able to successfully move forward .

2 . Moving staff development and education online
3 . Adequately supporting our nation ’ s public health system
4 . Being ready to handle care for the growing number of seniors that are turning 65 each year
5 . Improving affordability of care
6 . Improving overall quality of patient care
