DR . JOEL PICARD is a graduate of Georgetown University ’ s School of Dentistry . He is a third generation dentist in his family practice , which was founded in 1941 . While Dr . Picard provides all types of dentistry , his expertise is in delivering advanced cosmetic and implant dentistry . Dr . Picard is an active member of the Seattle Study Club , an international dental organization focusing on innovative restorative treatment . He is also a member of the RI and American Dental Associations , the Academy of General Dentistry and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry .
Dr . Picard received the RI Dental Association ’ s Humanitarian Award for his volunteer work over the past twenty-eight years . He resides in Cumberland with his wife , Sarah , and his family and enjoys tennis , fishing and traveling .
