At RI ORAL SURGERY & IMPLANT CENTER , we are proud to provide our community with excellent oral health care through a personalized approach and utilization of the latest technologies and techniques . Our practice provides a wide range of oral surgery procedures , including wisdom tooth removal , dental implants including “ Teeth In a Day ” and corrective jaw surgery . Our team is led by two experienced oral surgeons , Dr . Ray English III and Dr . James LeRoy Jr .
Dr . Ray English III received his DMD degree from Boston University , where he was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Society and received multiple awards for his salivary gland research , radiology , oral diagnosis , and dental implantology . He completed his oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine . He holds a master ’ s in health policy from New York University , and a Bachelor of Science in biology from Boston College . Dr . English is a diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery , and has authored multiple articles in professional journals , and a chapter in a board review textbook . He is a faculty member at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine , and holds hospital privileges at Tufts Medical Center and the Miriam Hospital .
Dr . James LeRoy Jr . received his DMD degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine . He pursued a general practice residency at Montefiore Medical Center prior to completing his oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at Northwell Long Island Jewish Medical Center . Dr . LeRoy has extensive training in dentoalveolar surgery , dental implants , orthognathic surgery , maxillofacial trauma , pathology , reconstructive jaw surgery , TMJ surgery and adult and pediatric anesthesia . He holds a master ’ s in biomedical science from Tufts University , and a Bachelor of Science in biology from the University at Buffalo . Dr . LeRoy is a faculty member at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine , and holds hospital privileges at Tufts Medical Center and the Miriam Hospital .
