LETTER FROM THE
PRESIDENT
It seems that everywhere we turn these days, people are talking about COVID-19, and for
good reason. We’ve never seen anything like this before in our lifetimes. I was talking to
my 80-plus-year-old next-door neighbor recently, and of course, it didn’t take long before
the subject of coronavirus came up. She said, “I don’t know what next year is going to be
like, but I know things will never be the same again.” She’s probably right. We have all
learned a lot through this pandemic, and when we come out the other end of it (and we
will!), some of the changes we have made will become the new normal. We will likely all
pay more attention to our health and safety, and that’s a good thing.
At HealthQuest, we care about our wonderful customers, and we want to help you stay
safe and healthy. So many of you keep coming back year after year, and we consider you
friends. So, when the pandemic struck, we tried to find ways to help. Whether it was a
nurse who needed new shoes and orthotics or compression socks to support them on
their 12-hour shifts, or a post-operative person who needed a special garment, we made
it possible. We launched our first e-commerce site, www.healthquestnl.ca, so you can
shop from the comfort and safety of home. And we learned that while things may never
be the same again, there are lots of new and innovative ways to serve our customers. Our
whole team looks forward to continuing to innovate to help you stay healthy and live your
best life.
