New Neoga Clinic

SBL Casey Clinic
The new SBL Casey Clinic, located at 934 N. Route 49, near
Interstate 70 in Casey, opened in February.
The spacious clinic is 9,491 square feet and features family
practice, 10 exam rooms, a procedure room, diagnostic
imaging, laboratory services, speech, physical and occupational
therapy, and a worksite for Lincolnland Home Care. Similar
to other clinics, it has a drive-up canopied entrance and brick
facade.
Construction is expected to begin in June
on the new Sarah Bush Lincoln Neoga
Clinic.
The clinic will be approximately 5,000 square feet and have a
brick facade and a canopied entrance, similar to other Sarah
Bush Lincoln clinics. Construction is expected to take about nine
months.
The new Neoga Clinic will also feature six exam rooms, a
procedure room, laboratory and diagnostic imaging services
and an expanded reception area. Family Practitioner Janice
Vandeveer, MD, and Certified Physician Assistant Iven Boehm,
PA-C, will continue to provide care at the new clinic.
Sarah Bush Lincoln purchased the former clinic in 1983 and
has provided primary care services through it for more than 30
years. Today, Advanced Practice Nurse Diana Oakley, APN,
provides care to community members in this new facility. Sarah Bush Lincoln purchased the clinic from the Swengel family
shortly after Dr. Robert Swengel passed away in 1994.

Mattoon Walk-In Clinic Sarah Bush Lincoln is moving forward with its plan to raze the
former Pizza Hut and build a fully modern clinic in Shelbyville.
The new Mattoon Walk-In Clinic at 200 Dettro Drive,
Mattoon, is expected to open in mid-May. It will feature
appoximately 5,000 square feet of space.
At double the size, the new Walk-In Clinic will better
accommodate the volume of people who seek medical care in
Mattoon.
SBL President and CEO Jerry Esker said, “Since we opened
the Walk-In Clinic in 2012 at Mattoon Marketplace, we’ve
experienced tremendous growth, going from a little more
than 5,000 patient visits a year to nearly 20,000 patient visits
Demolition is set to begin in mid-April with construction to
follow. The new site, located at 1215 W. Main St., will replace
the current SBL Shelbyville Clinic located in HSHS Good
Shepherd Hospital in Shelbyville. Family Practitioner Doris
Bowers, MD, and Gary Hayden, PA-C, will continue to provide
care at the new facility.
The proposed clinic will look similar to other Sarah Bush Lincoln
clinics with a brick facade, canopied entrance and will feature
nine exam rooms, a procedure room, laboratory and diagnostic
imaging and an expanded reception area. Construction is
expected to take eight months to complete.
