Omar Duggan graduated from GMercyU’s respiratory care program in
in 2016. Take a look at what he accomplished as a Griffin:
• Participated in multiple clinical rotations, including rotations
at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and Magee
Rehabilitation Hospital
• Named to the Dean’s List and was a member of the Alpha Eta
National Honor Society for the Allied Health Professions
• Gained an edge over respiratory therapy students from other
institutions thanks to opportunities to use equipment that is used out
in the workforce
TODAY: Omar is a Respiratory Therapist at The Brooklyn Hospital
Center and serves as a Respiratory Therapist for Electromed, Inc., the
company that makes SmartVest®, a device that helps keep airways
clear for patients prone to illnesses such as pneumonia.
