We had an exciting roundup of informative events that took place over the past few months. Indian cricketer Suresh Raina attended the Thumbay Hospital ‘Spinal Health Month’ campaign and discussed fitness, how he dealt with injury, and of course, cricket. Another renowned Indian cricketer Irfan Pathan visited Thumbay Hospital to attend the ‘Count Your Steps to Beat Diabetes’ campaign. He provided tips on how to keep healthy and fit. Both were thronged by fans for the meet and greet sessions. Our Founder President of Thumbay Group Mr. Thumbay Moideen graced the cover of the February 2016 edition of Forbes magazine with an in-depth interview about his amazing journey to success in the healthcare sector. The entire team at HEALTH magazine and I wish to congratulate him on this major achievement. On January 11, Thumbay Hospital conducted a ‘Pink Drive’ which highlighted the courageous stories of real life breast cancer survivors from all walks of life. Also, in honor of International Women’s Day taking place on March 8, I met with some ‘superwomen’ who juggle families and successful careers and prove that women really can do it all.
