you are going to the gym, keep going to the gym. It is the best way to keep in shape because you have the best machines and a person who is a expert. He can give you a exercise routine suitable for you.

But that article is for the people who wants to get fit but do not want to join a health club or a gym because it is so expensive or maybe they are independent people. It is simple: you can get in shape without leaving home.

The key is the effort. You can do whatever you want, whenever you want and wherever you want. Even without the best machines, you can build muscles and burn calories. Things like fit balls, dumbbells, exercise bands and push-up bars are good items to create a routine that work all the major muscle groups.

An effective fitness program has five components:

- A warm-up

- A cardiovascular (aerobic) workout

- Resistance (strenght-building) exercises

- Flexibility moves

- A cooldown
