Jackie University WHITTLE CHALLENGE Lessons from Leeds Teaching School Let’s open the debate on the future of Irish Health Care. Come hear about the different perspectives on what is happening next, in a very different way! Head of Nursing for Professional Practice, Clinical Standards & Safety Technology is at people’s fingertips. We must utilise the opportunities technology presents to us in our healthcare. 40 Page Jackie Whittle, Head of Nursing Informatics at Leeds Teaching Hospital, presented a motivating and inspiring journey around embedding technology in health and social care through the city wide multi-agency integrated record, PPM+. Jackie demonstrated the journey of a patient and how the record enables the GP to be more informed thus providing safer care to the patient. University Challenge was the finale to the Health Innovation Week. Our consultancy partners came together with members from eHealth Ireland leadership and split into four different mixed teams. The teams battled it out to become the “eHealth University Challenge Champions of 2017”. The rounds consisted of Irish General Knowledge, Explain the Acronym and Who is this. The teams were named after different universities in Ireland. This was a fun finale showing true collaboration and comradery between KPMG; Deloitte, Accenture and PWC. A big thanks to the participants who contributed.
