drought in Tanzania (a country located on the east side of
Africa) can have several chain reaction effects on social,
environmental, and economic aspects of the country.
If the country of Tanzania faced a drought, the health of the residents in the country would be affected in a negative way. Dust related health problems can arise due to the dryness of the land. Such as, breathing problems caused by dust entering the air. Also, the death rate could eventually skyrocket as well due to the lack of filtered drinking water or food to eat. Due to the dryness the drought brings, crops would die; which this would result in loss of money for farmers. This could ultimately result in loss of money for farmers. This could ultimately result in farmers and fishermen moving to the inner-city while seeking employment, due to the lack of resources where they were originally employed.
There could be a very dramatic impact on the environment as well. For one, wildfires would increase dramatically, resulting in wildlife reduction or even extinction. Animals would not have drinking water because rivers and lakes would dry up. The animals would also starve to death because trees and grass would dry up, resulting in most animals having nothing to eat. Wildlife having nothing to eat would cause a chain reaction in the animal kingdom because it would impact the food food chain in a big way. Each animal has a very important role; this helps balance out the animal kingdom and helps to keep . This can have a very negative effect on wildlife in the long run. The animals we love could be gone forever.
