Hey!
I’ve heard that you have been having feelings for your childhood friend for some time. Know that I will totally support you in whatever you decide, but remember that as a Christian we should set our boundaries and know that if the guy wants to step over those boundaries you have to stop the relationship. For it is written in 1 Thessalonians 4:3, “It is God's will that you should be sanctified: that you should avoid sexual immorality.” Always keep in mind that if you are ever struggling to keep those boundaries you should talk to a friend or an adult so you know what to do. If those don’t work always remember that God is there for you and that he will guide you on the right path.
Also when you might be having problems in the relationship, remember that “Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.” You have to be willing to give in to both sides and not just care about yourself. You have to remember that you have to love him no matter what happens, unless he is making you do something that oversteps your boundaries. Remember God forgave every one of their sins, so use that as an example so that you will remember to forgive if something goes wrong in the relationship.
I will always be here to help you, so just email me if you have a problem. If not just pray and ask God yourself and he will answer you.
