“Studying MSc Advancing Professional Practice (work-based learning) at Keele
University has afforded the creation of a bespoke programme of learning;
providing the opportunity to study alongside other qualified health care
professionals through integration and facilitation of learning using a
blended approach. Firmly embedded within the MSc Advancing
Professional Practice (WBL) is the application to practice and the
flexibility to choose modules to meet the demands of each
individual’s professional development.
The course is rigorous and academically challenging
which serves to provide a great sense of achievement
on completion of modules which are essential for
the demands of the future of nursing. I have
thoroughly enjoyed this course and I would
recommend the MSc Advancing
Professional Practice to those health
care professionals looking to
increase their knowledge and
skills and advance their
