Dear Lobster Girl,

Dear Lobster Girl,

The sun is very dangerous! You need to be careful not only does it age your skin but it's connected to skin cancer and puts you at risk for many other diseases. You need to up your SPF to about 50. And don't forget to reapply it throughout the day! The amount of sun that you see outside doesn't mean the UV rays aren't strong. Try wearing a hat! Not all hats look silly I'm sure you can find a nice sunhat! Maybe one that matches your bathing suit (even a baseball cap with your favourite team would be a good alternative when hiking). It's important to try to stay in the shade when the sun is at its highest around 12 to 1 pm. Remember that its hotter in France than in Canada so you need to dress appropriately.

Love,

Abby
