TELL US ABOUT YOUR PRACTICE.
“South Bay Orthopaedic Specialists is a premier practice of orthopaedic surgeons, offering complete orthopaedic care for the South Bay of Southern California. We have a team of qualified and compassionate staff that work together to give our patients the best experience they can. When patients come to our office stressed or in pain, our staff goes above and beyond to help them through their visit and leave our office happy that they came to us. We often will fit emergencies or urgent appointments into our schedule and know that when someone is in pain, an appointment in one or two weeks will not work. We are open on Saturdays as well, to see weekend warriors or high school athletes injured in Friday’s football game.”
HOW DO YOU GIVE BACK TO YOUR COMMUNITY?
“We sponsor athletics in the local schools, and during football season we have several physicians who cover local high school football games on Friday nights. Throughout the year we also contribute to various charities, such as Kiwanis, the Palos Verdes Junior Women’s Club and as a whole office, staff and physicians contribute and participate in Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October.”
SHARED TIP
Moderate exercise for 30 minutes, three to five times a week, is key in helping prevent issues that may show up as we age. The loss of muscle and bone mass as we get older can cause problems in muscles, bones and joints; in turn, conditions such as back pain and osteoarthritis may occur. Regular exercise also helps improve mobility and balance, which may prevent falls and serious injuries such as fractures.
“All of our surgeons are board-certified physicians and will provide you with the best and most innovative orthopaedic care available.”
