Dr. Kelliny has lived in the South Bay with his wife, Mary, and three children for more than 20 years. He appreciates what the area offers for water sports and outdoors activities. He enjoys motorcycles, photography, skiing, hiking and off-road sports. Dr. Kelliny has been active in youth sports with his children. He was a referee for AYSO soccer for five years, and he was assistant coach/trainer to youth Pop Warner football teams. He also was one of the Palos Verdes High School photographers for both the FROSH football team and JV Lacrosse.

“I’ve been practicing dentistry for more than 20 years—as a specialist for 12 years. I have an extensive training background in surgical endodontics, where I can perform treatment and save teeth, which many other specialists would consider hopeless due to case
“The most rewarding aspect of my practice is when I’m successful in changing a patient’s fearful perception toward dentistry in general and root canal treatment in particular. I can achieve this by working with patients to their comfort level, assuring them through caring service of the nonthreatening nature of root canal treatment and de-mystifying the myth. Also, each tooth presents a challenge for treatment, from curved roots to removing separated instruments and, of course, surgeries. I always consider each case unique.”
