CREATED TO BE THE BEST
I am glad to tell you in this edition that you are God’s best. You are masterpiece of God. God made you to be the best. There was a conference in heaven before you’re formed and allowed to come to the world. There was a deliberation about who you would be in the earth in God’s court-room in heaven before you were made and put in your mother’s womb. That is why the Bible says: “for thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in from my mother’s womb. My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and gloriously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. Thy eyes did see my substance, yet being imperfect, and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them. How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, o God! How great is the sum of them.” (Psalm 139: 13-17)
Wow! You were made in secret by God. God Almighty put you together in His secret place. He formed you in His inner chamber. He created you all alone in His closet. Then you must be special and precious to God your Designer. No wonder He didn’t hesitate to sacrifice His only begotten Son Jesus Christ to redeem you. No wonder it pleased God to bruise His son to have you back from the grip of the evil one. No wonder that no sacrifice was too much for God your Lover to make in order to preserve you as His own.
Friend, God, the chief potter, meticulously, carefully and intricately designed and created you for His own plan and purpose. You are a finished product of God Almighty, you can’t be a nonentity. You are an artwork of God; you can’t be a wash-out. You are a product of His touches, you can’t be useless. You can’t be worthless.
When God finished your creation in His secret place, He carefully looked at you, and smiled, and said “this is another wonder of My hands”. There and then God concluded that you were wonderful, beautiful, handsome, glorious and loveable. He saw in you a giant, a world shaker and a solution provider. He saw in you a light unto nations. He saw you as a success and a celebrity in the earth. He saw you as His answer to the world’s question. He saw you as His solution to people’s problems. He saw you as His hope to put your world in order. He saw you as His hands to reach your world. He saw you as His mouth to tell your world of His love.
Moreover He saw you fulfilling your destiny and bringing glory to Him your Maker. He saw the world accepting and celebrating you. He saw you emerging as a light in the midst of darkness of this world. He saw you leaving the earth as an overcomer and a champion in the world. It was then He decided to put you in your mother’s womb. That is why God said that before I formed you in the belly I knew thee (Jeremiah 1:5a).
