10 LAWS OF INTEREST
It is very important to let you know the place of interest in
learning. There is nothing like reading widely,and understanding what
you are reading. Reading is a commandment regardless of your age for
learning to be effective and efficient. According to OLUSEYI SOLOMON
why reading is a must. If you must become a resourceful reader,you
must obey the following rules and regulations. It is often said that
:”Readers are leaders."If you must become a leader,you must obey
certain rules because,“It takes rules to be a ruler“. These laws are
what I call:
THE 10 LAWS OF INTEREST
1.Give attention to books and reading: 1 Timothy 4:13.
2.Fight distraction: It is an enemy of learning. For example,
addiction to television, people and other things that discourage you
from learning. Proverbs 27:20.
3.Create time for reading and thinking: We create time for what we
love. See books as your friends, companions, and counsellors. 1
Timothy 4:13,15
4.Set a reading goal for yourself: This begins with planning what to
read per day, per week and monthly. Plan to read what is useful and
beneficial to your destiny.
5.Be selective in the choice of books you read: Not every book is
good for reading. Some are packs of poison. Beware!
6.Be curios. Have a desire to know,read to understand and document
your discoveries.
7.Be current and versatile: Read widely,because knowledge is
progressive, develop your mental man-spirit,soul and body.
8.Make a decision on what to do about what you have studied: Readers
are actors of discovered secrets(truth).
9.Books are treasures,therefore,invest in knowledge. Buy them as
relevant to your needs per time. Visit book shores and book fairs.
10.Consciously build your own library: To be a certified bookworm,you
must rise above all forms of borrowing mentality. Wise men lay up
knowledge. Proverbs 10:14.

I admonish you to obey these laws,and watch how your value for
knowledge and its application will tranform you into greatness.
