This is a new year and it is a year that is loaded with the blessings of God for the people of God. You have to know that there is an enemy out there who doesn’t like you to enjoy all that God your Maker and Father have for you this year. And that is why it is necessary to know how to stop him in your life this year.
I would like you to know that Satan can become a nobody to you. You can scheme him out of your way and your life this year. You can put him under your feet permanently forever. You can render him powerless over your life, career and family. You can make him to become a toothless and clawless lion around you. You can make yourself untouchable and invincible to Satan and his agents like Job in the Bible. The Bible says: “Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, doth Job fear God for nought? Hast not thou made an hedge about him, and his house, and about all that he hath on every side? Thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land” (Job1:9-10)
Beloved, this could be your portion this year and forever. You can render Satan and his demons powerless around you by securing God’s hedge around you on every side. And Satan won’t have choice than to let you alone. Do you know that Satan became jealous of Job and complained to God about his inability to touch Job.
In essence, what I am trying to say is that you can render Satan and his angels harmless and powerless over your life. Do you know that the only power Satan and his agents have over any soul on earth is sin. The only thing that can make Satan to torment, oppress and afflict any soul on earth is sin. Sin makes somebody to be at Satan’s mercy for it is written: “He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning.” (1John3:8a)
In other words, Satan is the originator of sin i.e. sin started with Satan and anyone who sins has Satan as his head and lord. A sinner is a subject of Satan. Sin makes anyone who sins a prisoner in Satan’s prison. That is, sin permits Satan to take control of somebody’s life and destiny. Sin empowers Satan to have a say over anyone who sins.
Do you know that Satan had no power over man in Eden until man sinned against God. Satan had no say in Eden over man until man believed his lie. Satan was powerless and harmless to man until man sinned and became like him a sinner before God. Satan had no control, authority and dominion over man in Eden until iniquity was found in man as it was found in Satan. Satan and demons were nobodies to man in Eden until sin came that brought separation between God and man.
Moreover Satan was under the control and authority of man until man bowed to his deception and lies. It was sin of Adam that gave Satan and evil spirits power, control and authority over man and his progeny. Sin opened the door for Satan and demons into the world of man.
In essence, the only thing that gives room to Satan to operate and afflict a child of God is sin. The only legal ground which satan has to launch attacks against a child of God is on the platform of sin. When you are sinless, Satan is powerless over your life and he can’t touch you except God permits him to try you. Before an holy child of God could be touched or hurt by satan, he (satan) must make a special request to God and God must
