the POWer of imagination
We are not called princes, but kings. It is what we are. We are called lords. It is what we are. For we are made in His Image and everything that is takes to be a true King, is in us. How do we know that we are Kings? God's original design included the Blueprint for and of Kingship. It is not what we have. It is what we are. We just need revelation, revealed knowledge, to function as Kings. We need The Truth to set us free and deliver us from our limited mental knowing and through the renewing of our minds, know the things we already know. We need to acknowledge what our Spirit knows. We need to bear witness with His Word and His Spirit. We need to claim and reclaim and identify and bond with the intent of our Original Design.
Contrarily, Image in the context of Genesis does not represent or imply a copy of something that already exists and/or an idol version. An idol is a reflection of the original, a look alike. It bears resemblance of the initial design. There is ever only one original of anything conceptualised and manufactured or made. Thereafter, copies or duplicates of the original is made. We are not copies neither are we duplicates of God. We are each original, individual versions of God Himself. Everything God creates is an original of itself. God is the substance of what we are. We are made of God. We are not made of or from His DNA. We are His DNA. We don’t have His Breath. We are His Breath. This means not the air we breathe as in oxygen that flows through our nostrils to sustain our physical bodies, but His Spirit that is our Spirit. Our Spirit is who we are. Our soul gives our Spirit expression via our bodies.
God Created and Creates everything from Imagination. Then He expresses His Imagination, His vision. His Imagination becomes and Image. He gives it life. By speaking The Word. To speak means God breathes. The Bible says that every Word of God is God Breathed. The Spirit, the Breath of God, clothes every spoken Word in Flesh. Jesus is The Word of God that has become flesh. God becoming man. John 1:1. The very Name of Jesus as we refer to Him, Yahweh, is taken from four letters in the original Hebrew expression of God's Name, which consists of four letters only. YHVH. I found this interesting description : Even though the name YHWH is etymologically difficult to explain, to a Hebrew audience it may have looked very much like He Who Causes "That Which Is" To Be. (Excerpt : Abarim Publications).
We have the ability, as God does, as gods made like and as God, to cause that which is, to be. That is the Power of Imagination that we have been attributed with, endowed with. Our only limitation is therefore our own imagination. We have to believe beyond the limitation of capped imagination. (Unlimited does not imply unrestrained). God is Spirit. Spirit gives imagination expression as thoughts turned into Words. Words spoken are words breathed. Spirit Words. Words are made up of, compromises of and are comprehended as letters of, and letters with, value. Values have power. Words are the sum total of imaginative thoughts and words carry weight and worth, positive or negative.
The practical application of The Power of Imagination can perhaps be grasped by this analogy:
A developer drives past a random piece of land. He suddenly gets an image (his imagination produces an image) of a particular building on that piece of land. He develops his imagination by giving expression to it through words. His imagination (vision) is turned to words. He then takes the vision and adds value to it. He calculates what will be required to develop the building on the land. He takes his imagination to relevant service providers like engineers, architects, contractors and so forth, to turn his imagination into a visible image. He takes his imagination to the Bank to secure finances for his invisible, and as yet, unborn and non-existent vision, a non-tangible building. The Bank funds his imagination. The next thing he does is to demarcate the land, puts a fence around it, adds a gate and puts together a marketing team who puts a picture of what the end result, the building on show, to potential clients. All they show is what the proposed finished product should look like. Before long, the property is developed and sold and occupied. To start off with, all that initially existed was vacant land and The Power of Imagination that a Developer applied.
