Surrender exclusively unto him with your whole being , O Bharat . By his grace , you will attain perfect peace and the eternal abode .
( Srimadbhagvad Geeta : Chapter 18 : Verse 62 )
feeling of watching the beloved bird you raised fly away with another bird and never come back ? How does this resonate with human love life ?
Here I am sharing a true story from my life . Every word is a faithful account of exactly what happened back then . One day my younger brother found a little baby sparrow somehow fallen on ground we tried to find it ’ s home but could not . So we decided to adopt it .
It was raised as family . Most of the time it was out of its home , “ a basket ” ( which we have kept so as to keep it safe whenever a stray cat would like to visit our house specially during nights . It started to grow up but to our concern it has taken us as it ’ s biological family . Mother was mom to him as when we hug her in front of the little one it started to chirp in a very screechy fashion ( felt like scolding ) as if to say do not touch her and then eventually hop and settled in her lap . Sunday lunch time we tried really hard to teach him to sit next to our Father ’ s plate not in it to share rice .
Since ‘ he ’ really disliked eating alone so likes to eat sitting on the dinning table ( literally ) with all of us . We were giving it practice to fly . And all the while trying to encourage it to go and mingle with its own tribe members ; Since , bigger sparrows were all passing by and many a times stop at our roof but “ Chuchu " ( as we used to call him- a name based on the chirp he made ; It was given by me and no body liked yet somehow it stick ) looked at them as if he does not understand
