Spinal Cerebrospinal Fluid Leak
– An Under-recognized Cause of Headache
Misdiagnosis and delayed diagnosis of spontaneous intracranial hypotension, or
low cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) pressure inside the head, is common. It is an under-
recognized cause of headache that is treatable and in many cases, curable. Raising
awareness of this condition can improve the situation for these patients.
