EmmaLeaf’ s manufacturing facility was a completely new build, giving Schenck the opportunity to design the facility based on the best practices he had accumulated throughout his career, with a strong focus on efficiency, quality, and safety. Out of all the facility designs Schenck has been a part of, he considers the EmmaLeaf facility in Ashland his“ Mona Lisa.”
Also on the team is Doug Wade, who has been in legal cannabis markets over the course of 11 years, including Colorado and Arkansas, and now serves as the lab director for EmmaLeaf in Missouri. He has developed a strong presence in both his professional and personal life with those who share his affinity for great cannabis concentrates, including his strong social media presence( TikTok: Dr. dab710 $).
EmmaLeaf has an array of retail products, including its top-selling Pocket J’ s and Jumbo J’ s wax-infused pre-rolls( made with full bud), concentrates( shatter, sugar wax, live resin), and Moonrise Kitchen edibles( baked goods, including fudge brownies). It also has a line of value-oriented pre-rolls with the Cousin Dave’ s brand.
The EmmaLeaf Lab also produces a full line of bulk( in some cases, custom-designed) extracted products, including isolates, high-terpene extracts, distillates, and THCa diamonds for supply to other cannabis company partnerships.

While touring EmmaLeaf’ s facility, one notable aspect is the exceptional cleanliness and orderliness of every element, along with the“ four pillars” signs posted at the entrance and throughout the facility, which they apply across all areas of their work.“ Long before we completed the construction of our facility and commenced operations, we dedicated time as a team to identify the common values we considered‘ non-negotiable’ for EmmaLeaf as a company— values that would influence hiring, marketing, industry relationships, and product development,” explained Schenck.
EmmaLeaf’ s“ Four Pillars:”
● Respect: We embrace that all people have unique lives with different perspectives and experiences, and value what their uniqueness brings to EmmaLeaf.
● Collaboration: We achieve our collective goals as a team: ask for help when you need it, give help when asked.
● Accountability: We take responsibility for our actions and do the right thing when no one else is looking. Integrity and safety are never compromised.
● Quality: Every member of our team is responsible for producing safe and consistent products that exceed customer and consumer expectations.
“ We are a tight-knit team with an obsessive quality focus,” continued Schenck.“ Our products not only meet a high absolute standard but also are produced with the( consistent repeatable) consumer experience in mind. We start with high-quality plant material and ingredients because we believe that the materials going into our products should only be the best.”

When asked what’ s in store for 2026, Schenck said,“ We are very excited about new product development across our business lines. We plan to launch a line of‘ triple-infused’ joints, building on the popularity of our wax-infused pre-rolls, along with an increased number of [ seasonal ] edible products, and a line of high-terpene vapes. We are also excited about the work we are doing to add THCv to our vape and edible products.”
