Welcome to Huntingdon Drama Club’s production of
Silhouette
Director’s Notes
The action takes place at Martin Powell's country
home in Sussex. In Act One we watch as the police
investigate the murder of Martin Powell and arrest
their prime suspect. In Act 2 we see the events
leading up to the murder - has Inspector Bruton got
the right person in custody?
I'm so lucky with this production to have such a
wonderful cast. This is a difficult play - and so many
lines to learn! They've done a fantastic job and I'm
very proud of them.
However the cast are only the tip of the iceberg as
far as any production is concerned, and I can't thank
enough my co-director Chris Topham. Chris has not
only worked with the actors but has also been behind
the scenes with an input into every aspect of the
technical side of the production. Further huge thanks
to Rachael Orchard who as producer has quietly
organised publicity and tickets, liaised with various
backstage departments and provided general
support throughout.
The remaining unsung and unseen heroes are of
course Bob Pugh as stage manager, Carol Wadey on
costumes, Mike Dawson on sound, Richard Meredith
