This year we are expanding our experts to bring in new members and volunteers to assist with our programming, while attempting to expand our reach. The Corporate Counsel Section of the HCBA is unique, in that it brings together not only attorneys who work in-house for various corporations in the Tampa Bay Area, but also invites the active participation of any other attorneys who work with corporate counsel in their practice and who may be involved in assisting companies with the issues their legal departments might be charged with handling. The Corporate Counsel Section is also different from other Sections in that it caters to a diverse group of in-house attorneys, many of whom may not have ties to the Tampa Bay area or the Hillsborough County Bar Association, because they come from other areas of the country. As the Corporate Counsel Section seeks to expand its programming, involvement and reach both in our local Bar and in the greater community, we are looking for input on how this Section can better assist and benefit both the corporate corporate environment community and to give back to the private the community. practitioners The partner - who wish ship teams up to become local attorneys involved. and corporate As the new counsel to Bar year kicks provide pro off, we will be bono services to The Corporate Counsel providing a those in need. section is unique, in that survey to our The Corporate members to seek Counsel Section it brings together not new ideas, and hosts Tampa only attorneys who work to find out what Bay Pro Bono you think has Partners’ in-house for various worked and not annual spring corporations, but also worked in the kickoff and past and to get encourages its invites the active a better idea of members to participation of any other what you want select pro bono attorneys who work from your projects that Section.
