Committee to host its annual
half-day CLe seminar. Held at the
Stetson university College of Law
and the Chester H. ferguson Law
Center, the seminar focused on the
topic of “practicing with ethics, Civility, and professionalism.” pulitzer prize-winning author
Gilbert king delivered the keynote, speaking on the recent pardon of the Groveland four, about
whom he wrote his famous book Devil in the Grove. additional seminar speakers included
professor Jan Jacobowitz, professor Lawrence krieger, Theresa revell, Scott Tozian, Donald a.
Smith, Jr., Denis deVlaming, and the Judges from florida’s Thirteenth and Sixth Judicial Circuits
with HCba past president kevin mcLaughlin moderating.
