For nearly three decades, Clara Reynolds has devoted her career to helping people in the Tampa Bay community navigate some of the darkest and most difficult times in their lives.
Raised in Tampa, Reynolds attended Florida State University before beginning her career as a social worker and later founding a nonprofit focused on youth and families experiencing serious behavioral health issues.
In 2015, Reynolds became president and CEO of the Crisis Center of Tampa Bay,
Left: Amanda Uliano, HCBA President-Elect, with Clara Reynolds, right. whose mission is“ to ensure that no one in our community has to face crisis alone.” To fulfill this mission, the Center provides vital 24 / 7 support networks— such as the“ 211” community resource line and“ 988” suicide prevention lifeline— along with trauma counseling, sexual assault survivor services, and medical / behavioral health transportation.
