We are continuing to highlight the important role that our nation’ s military plays in the Tampa Bay area with the action-packed photos featured on the cover of this issue. MacDill Air Force Base is home to U. S. Special Operations Command( SOCOM) and U. S. Central Command( CENTCOM). One of the more visible public events that SOCOM hosts annually is the Live Capabilities Demonstration held outside the Convention Center in downtown Tampa, as part of SOF Week. This annual convention is the premier event for the Global Special Forces Community. This exciting demonstration is open to the public and will be held again this May.

President Matt Hall wrote about the important role that SOCOM and CENTCOM play in our community and around the world and about SOF Week in his article on page 6.
