In the legal world, success is often measured by amassing billable hours, the meticulous filing of motions, or achieving favorable verdicts.
But once a year, the HCBA measures success by something entirely different: the smoky aroma of a grill, sneakers hitting the pavement, and a collective promise to provide legal services to those in our community in need.
On Feb. 28, that spirit was on full display as the HCBA hosted the 22nd Annual Judicial Food Festival and the 17th Annual 5K Pro Bono River Run.
Held along Tampa’ s beautiful Riverwalk and on the grounds of Stetson Law’ s Tampa campus, this year’ s festivities proved that while these HCBA traditions are aging gracefully, the energy of those participating is only increasing, with more than 500 people participating in this year’ s festivities.
