HCBA Community Services and MVAC Committees Serve Local Veterans and their Families
On October 29, the hcBa community Services committee, together with the Military & veterans affairs committee, served an italian pot-luck style meal to military and veteran families at the fisher house. located on the campus of the James a. haley veterans’ hospital, the fisher house provides a“ home away from home” for families of veterans and active-duty military while their loved ones are being treated at the hospital. the event was a great success and committee members served a warm meal to nearly 40 fisher house residents!
