With President-Elect Donald Trump returning to the White House , it ’ s time to look ahead at what to expect during his second term . Below are some predictions .
Adjustments to the Labor Relations Playing Field
The Trump Administration will likely adjust the scales for federal labor law policy , generally giving employers more leeway over the next four years . While it takes time for a new administration to install new Board leaders and begin to change policy , we will eventually see the Trump National Labor Relations Board ( NLRB ) reverse efforts to smooth the path for unions and organizers . Expect to see the Biden Administration ’ s pro-labor efforts rolled back or reversed between 2025 and 2028 .
We will probably see a repeat of his prior term ’ s roll back of the NLRB ’ s “ quickie election ” rule and the issuance of rules that make it easier for workers to undo union representation . We also expect
