One of the greatest impacts of the HCBA Young Lawyers Division is that it offers its members many things : networking opportunities , continuing legal education credits , and access to judiciary , to name a few . Beyond the classic attorney basics provided by bar associations all over the country , the HCBA YLD has provided its members with two special extras : connection and friendship . Throughout each bar year , the YLD sees members return year after year to participate in scheduled events and to spend time with old and new members , many of whom have become friends ; friendships and connections form that may have never otherwise happened . The YLD brings together members from numerous areas of law who may never have crossed paths , let alone spend time getting to know each other .
The YLD excels at creating events for everyone to connect because not everyone enjoys the same type of social activity . Most recently , the YLD Community Outreach Committee held an event on Saturday , November 2 . This event focused on health and wellness in the form of a
