about the Cover

On the cover of this issue , we are highlighting the 13th Circuit ’ s second main Courthouse : the Plant City Courthouse . Serving the eastern half of Hillsborough County , the current Courthouse , located at 301 North Michigan Street , was opened in 2011 . The new two-story courthouse was built to replace the 53-year old court facility . The new facility accommodated and expanded upon current court operations and related services in Plant City with four courtrooms and offices for the Clerk of the Circuit Court , the State Attorney , the Public Defender , the Sheriff , and many other services .
