“ The Law Center is great , and I am proud to be a member of the HCBA when I am there ,” one member said . “ I see the Law Center as a community asset in many ways .”
Taking into account the array of services the HCBA provides , 93 % of members said they are satisfied , or very satisfied , with the value they received for their membership dues .
“ The HCBA provides valuable tools to lawyers of all ages and promotes professionalism ,” one member commented .
Said another : “ I feel like the HCBA and its members are part of my legal family .” Some other findings :
• Members expressed a strong interest in technologyrelated issues , such as cybersecurity , privacy , data protection , e-discovery , and the use of forensic technologies in litigation .
• The HCBA ’ s Lawyer magazine remains popular , with almost 90 % of members who say they sometimes or always read it ( nearly 35 % say they read the digital version ).
• A majority of members said they are aware of the Bar Foundation ’ s charitable efforts in the community .
HCBA members participate in Judicial Roundtable Discussions at the recent Bench Bar Conference .
The HCBA appreciates everyone who took time to participate in the survey .
Of course , every organization must continue to evolve to stay relevant and provide value for its members .
