Since 1979 , I have been an educator in various capacities in three central Florida counties at the high school , undergraduate , graduate , and law school levels . I am a high school teacher from the 1970 ’ s who graduated from law school twelve months before my 50th birthday . Based on a Pew Research Center ’ s designation of generations , I have taught four generations of students — Baby Boomers , Generation x , Millennials , and Generation Z . 1 during my educational career , I began to notice changes in the values and ethics of students . While some generations have similar characteristics , many are vastly different .
For example , Baby Boomers , born between 1946-1964 , and Generation x , born between 1965 and 1980 , value dedication to their jobs and loyalty to their employers . They do not necessarily need
