during the event . Receiving the Team Spirit Award , the Honorable Claudia R . Isom and A . Woodson “ Woody ” Isom of Team Isom shared their support for the cause . Joining together — whatever our ability , whatever our chosen activity — gives us a common goal to contribute to the public good by opening the doors to justice wide enough to welcome every member of our community .”
Catherine Vann Arpen biked the most miles at 68.89 , and Hannah Becker had the most miles running / walking at 81 . The largest group walk was hosted by the HCBA Young Lawyers Division . And the Bolin Law Group raised the most donations at $ 2,287.58 . Awards were also presented to The Law Office of Gale H . Moore for best family / group photo ; to Sandy Boehm and her dog , Dakota , for the best pet photo in costume ; and to the Gilbert Garcia Group for the best human photo in costume .
Bay Area Legal Services ( BALS ) is a regional , nonprofit public interest law firm providing high quality legal counsel to low-income
residents of Hillsborough , Manatee , Pasco , Pinellas , and Sarasota Counties .
