Before we start, I would like to share a little about myself. I have been married to my very supportive husband Robert, for 21 years. We live in Northern California with our two children Tyler, 17 and Kaytlyn, 15. I work full time as a nurse (RN) at Feather River Hospital in the Paradise, CA. My husband is a full time student, working on an Engineering Degree at Chico State College.
I have been creating art dolls/reborn dolls since late 2007. After seeing my first reborn doll on eBay, I quickly bloomed from spectator to self-taught artist. I have studied the work of other artist's for countless hours, invested a lot of time, and quite a bit of money to stumble my way through learning the art of reborning.
I am always exploring new ideas and techniques, while perfecting others… A delicate balance.
Creating a doll to me is about magnifying the finer details in realism. Using a variety of applications and techniques that separate one doll from another, each doll becomes a unique and one of a kind creation.
