Hazleton Area Business Citizen
Editor’s Desk
Some great words are often associated with the description of a successful business:
inspiration, achievement, fulfillment. Any business person who has experienced success can
reflect on who or what inspired them to achieve their goals. Not much in life can provide
that same fulfilled feeling as a successful business venture.
Artistic pursuits are also associated with inspiration, achievement, and fulfillment. As
varied as business is, so, too, is art. And, as with business, little else in life provides that
same sense of fulfillment as a completed work of art.
The similarities shared between business pursuits and artistic expression has become one
of the themes of The Hazleton Area Business Citizen. Talent, intelligence, discipline,
among many attributes, are abundant in both the business/professional and the artistic
communities of Greater Hazleton.
Miss Faberge, owner of Faberge Follies, is this month’s Interview subject. She exemplifies
all these descriptive words, plus. An accomplished and gifted dancer, business provides
Faberge the means to not only continue personally with her art, but also to share dance
with others.
Jeremy Petrachonis is an enthusiastic young artist, and a selection of his abstract works is
featured this month. Enthusiasm is another great word which also can be associated with
both business and art.
The HABC is enthusiastic about the business and artistic communities in the Greater
Hazleton Area. We are enthusiastic about the free market. Published monthly in print and
online, the magazine is distributed to business people and professionals throughout the
area. The online version is accessible via www.citpublish.com.
