My friend Bernie and I were visiting the Hazleton
Area Historical Society and we were impressed with the
many interesting and informative exhibits that the museum has about Hazleton’s yesteryears. Bernie said that the
Historical Society had the opportunity to preserve the entire south side of Hazleton before Re-Development came
along but no one would come up with the money to build
the geodesic dome to house the exhibit. Bernie said in the
end it was just as well, because even if someone did come
up with the money he was sure nobody could have been
found to fund the purchase of the vast quantities of window cleaner which would have been needed to keep the
damned thing clean.
