HAYATI FAITH EDUCATION BEGINS IN THE WOMB In the world, there is an estimate of three to four babies born every second! And when those eyes peep up at the mother or father, there is an undoubted instant connection between them. This baby knows you, miss mother...this baby knows you, mister father, almost better than you could have ever imagined. Your baby has been aware of his or her surroundings from within in the womb and that brings me to the point of this article, education begins in the womb. Paradise lies beneath her feet so the way to paradise for the child is to show an utmost respect to his or her mother. According to Muhammad (PBUH), the importance of the mother is three times above the importance of the father. The mother is also the school, she is the educator of her child or children and therefore, education begins within the home. What we often forget is that the baby’s first home is within his or her mother’s womb and therefore, education begins within the home of the womb! Alhumdulillah, the miracle of fetus development into a fully-functioning human being contains careful steps. The first sense of the baby is touch which appears on week seven within the womb.
