Tech Savvy Seniors returns

Are you, or someone you know, curious about mobile technology but not sure where to start?
The Tech Savvy Seniors program is returning to Hawkesbury Library Service this April, offering a series of workshops designed specifically for seniors who want to build confidence using smart devices and staying safe online.
This four-week program covers the essentials of mobile technology and cyber safety in a friendly, hands-on environment. Whether you’ re a complete beginner or simply looking for a refresher, the sessions will guide you through the basics of smartphones and tablets, helping make technology more accessible and enjoyable. What you’ ll learn:
• Getting to know your device – explore the key features of smartphones and tablets
• Introduction to social media – learn how to use platforms such as Facebook and Instagram
• Sharing photos and attachments – discover how to share memories and documents online
• Cyber safety – learn how to protect yourself and your personal information.
Through these workshops,
Hawkesbury Library Service aims to help participants feel comfortable, confident and capable using their mobile devices in today’ s digital world. Attendees are encouraged to bring along their device and any questions they may have. Workshop details:
• Wednesdays: 8, 15, 22 and 29 April
• Time: 10:30am – 12:30pm
• Location: Central Library, 300 George Street
• Duration: Four weekly sessions
